The sterling silver cufflinks found in the car by Sonny were also supposed to be put on sale but later on, he decided to return them to the Middleton family. 2. 1959 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder One of the most coveted models created by Ferrari, the 250 GT California Spyder was auctioned for $3.26 million in Ebay. This car features a 12-cylinder engine and exciting cloth top cover. Its previous owner, who lives in Pittsburgh, put it on sale. Ferrari made only 45 such models but none of them were similar. The model sold on Ebay features a long wheelbase. 3. The 1933 Duesenberg SJ Speedster Between the years 1932 and 1937, only 36 special, supercharged models of the Duesenberg SJ were made. It was sold on Ebay for a spectacular price of $2.6 million. It is the second most costly car that Ebay has sold. Reportedly, these cars used to produce 320 horsepower and gave a stunning 104 miles per hour speed average. 4. 2008 Lamborghini Reventon One of the most desired Lamborghini models, a 2008 Lamborghini Reventon, got sold on Ebay for an astounding sum of $2.5 million. Lamborghini produced only 20 models of this type. TEN of these highly priced models were sold in the US each for the price $1. 5 million. The owner has not disclosed the reasons for putting up such a lucrative car for sale. 5. Maserati MC12 One of the seven federalized Maserati MC12 was recently put on Ebay. More than a whopping $1.2 million has been offered for this car by bidders. This white and blue Maserati has a powerful V12 engine, which has travelled only some 521 miles thus far. A Florida based collector owned it previously.

And, the tires are made from bio-rubber and mushrooms. AEGT01 electric race car Electric batteries power this racing car from Quimera. Its Lithium Polymer EIG batteries help provide a 1000 lb torque and take the car up to 180 mph. The electric car has some of the best UQM motors that generate around 700 horsepower. Well, then go for the Green GT which is powered by two electric turbo engines that generate as much as 400 bhp. The GT is capable of achieving a top speed of 171 mph and consists of a liquid-cooled battery and a sophisticated fire suppression system as well. Renault launched its new design strategy back in 2010 under the direction of designer, Laurens van den Acker. The design strategy cantered around the concept of cycle of life. Each concept car represented a step of human life. The first one named, DeZir was about falling in love, Captur symbolized exploring the world, R-Space was about starting a family and Frendzy, the work phase of life. Twin’Z is the fifth concept car in this line that symbolizes fun and play. Renault collaborated with famous designer, Ross Lovegrove to create this concept. The Beauty Twin’Z is clear-coated in sparkling Blue that gives it a velvety matte-gloss look. Lovegrove has given a minimalist interior design that aims on cutting down weight and maximizing the space. The city car boards the pillarless concept, which in turn gives it a singular landscape. The seats are upholstered in 3D woven textiles that are waterproof and flame resistant. The concept of 3D printing is translated to the rims, designed by using parametric modelling. The lighting in the car draws its design heavily from the organic elements and boards different LED panels to do so. The overall effect seems to give Tron-like touch to the vehicle. The Beast The rear-wheel drive comes with a rear mounted electric motor that is powered by lithium batteries capable of generating up to 96 volts. This translates to a power of 68 hp and a torque 226 Nm. Twin’Z, being a city car, doesn’t boast of power, but aims at being efficient. The Thrill The concept car’s top speed clocks at 130 Km/h (80.7 mph). It boasts of its aerodynamic design and comes with a high waistline and low stance. Its 18-inch low-profile glowing-green wheels are pushed out to the corners. What’s Different? Its funky design, neon-infused interiors, and stunning visual features make it one of the most attractive concept cars. The overall car is as much of an art form as a vehicle that aims at maximizing the footprint.

No matter which car wins ‘the fastest’ title, all of these are uniquely designed, extremely powerful and but of course out of the reach of common man. Let’s take a look at some of such cars that will simply take your breath away! SSC Ultimate Aero Powered by a 6.3 liter, V8 twin-turbo engine that generates up to 1287 of horsepower, the SSC Ultimate Aero is surely going to take you by surprise! Built by SSC North America, this sports car attains a top speed of 412 km/h and weights about 1247 kg. It was designed to use 92-octane gasoline. Buggati Veyron Super Sport This car had its way into the Guinness Books of World Records in the year 2007 for being the fastest car on the planet. Equipped with 8 liter engine having quad-turbo W16 that produces as much as 1200 horsepower, this car from Buggati runs up to 267.8 miles per hour. The car managed to keep ‘the fastest’ tag for about 3 consistent years but eventually had to give up as it consisted for a deactivated speed limiter which is usually absent in normal cars. When one activates the speed limiter this car has a top speed of 258 mph. SSC Tuatara SSC claims that this car will indeed be the fastest by attaining a maximum speed of 276 mph. However, we still have to wait until this car officially gets introduced. The SSC Tuatara has a 6.9 liter twin turbo V8 engine that generates 1350 of horsepower. Koenigsegg Agera R At one point of time, this car had the Guinness Record for the fastest sprint from 0 to 300 km/h in its kitty only to be overtaken by Venom GT. Officially the car has not been tested for its top speed which Koenigsegg claims to be 273 miles per hour. The Agera R has a 5 liter twin turbo V8 engine capable of generating around 1140 horsepower. Hennessey Venom GT Wondering how fast is this car? Well, it attains a top speed of 265.7 mph. Thanks to its 7 liter twin turbo V8 engine that churns out 1244 horsepower. The Venom GT has been certified by VBOX but not by Guinness. However the car did get into the books of world record when it completed the 0 to 300 km/h sprint in a matter of 13.63 seconds.

The Volocraft can now board a pilot and a fellow passenger. The pilot now can sit below the spinning blades and steer the aircraft up to a flight time of one hour. Yes, it does look like one of those sci-fi aircrafts that boards spider’s web like structure over the top with spinning motors at each node. The Beauty Volocraft is a very new concept that certainly looks like the future of air travel. What make vertical take-off possible are its 18 spinning rotors placed above the cockpit. A high level of manoeuvre is assisted by varying the revolutions per minute of different motors at a time. The carbon fiber blades are paired with their own motors and propellers arrange in two concentric circles. The Beast VC200 can bear takeoff weight of 990 pounds, however, current battery technology offers an impractical flight time of 20 minutes. To overcome this limitation, the aircraft uses combustion motors as range extenders by powering a generator that in turn supplies the electricity to its motors. This helps it to push its flight time up to one hour. The Thrill The two-seater volocopter can catch up to 100 Km/h at a minimum flight altitude of 6500 ft. Though the initial version of the aircraft placed the pilot above the spinning rotors, this updated version intends to provide a cockpit below the blades. We don’t know if it was more fun the other way, but it seems safer below the spinning rotors. What’s Different? Volocraft is a totally new concept that does not belong to any existing aviation category. It can be extremely useful in revolutionizing short distance transportation, though the fact cannot be denied that is has a long development path ahead.

So, your standard household garage might be a good bet. The Thrill You can fly up to 500 miles at a cruising speed of 105 mph and maximum speed of 115 mph. It’s on road maximum speed is not too bad at 105 mph. It can take payload of up to 210kg at a fuel efficiency of 35 mpg. However, the most thrilling part is not its speed or power, but its ability to spread its wings and fly away. What’s Different? We have seen dozens of flying car concepts since last decade, but none of them could be manifested into reality. Transition will be the first flying car that will become reality. It has obtained VIN from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and has been cleared by Federal Aviation Administration as well. However, you still have to wait for more than 12 months for the company to start production. In case you’re interested, it comes at a sticker price of $279,000.

The concept A designer from Korea has come up with a concept yacht inspired by knot of a scarf. Dubbed as Vey, it is an elegance yacht that embeds style into design while also taking into account the limitations of such design and coming up with a feasible version of such yacht. What differentiate it from normal yachts are its two elegantly designed flaps in the rear that curve inwards. The yacht looks like a creature with wings that belongs to the sea itself. The bottom of the yacht lights up in the night or evenings with red sky producing a mood lamp air. The backside of the yacht is sheltered by its flaps and provides the area for recreation where one can sunbath, dance or dine. The deck boards driver’s seat and resting table spaces beneath which lies the residential space. The yacht takes care of water drainage so that water can be easily flushed out of it. The Inspiration The designer JungJunPark took his inspiration from the tail of knot of a scarf. He divided the tail into two roads attached on one end and added more curvature to design to make it more elegant. A touch of flapping side of scarf is added to the sides using flapping line as a character. The overall result is a winding structure that provides elegance as well as shelter to the rear of the yacht. The two flaps look somewhat like gull wings and an extra dimension to the overall design. The feasibility Vey takes its inspiration from nature and manifests the concept into something that seems feasible for production. It certainly distinguishes itself from the pack with its luring design. Moreover, Vey shows us a glimpse into the future when yachts will board gull-wings and transform from a sea-borne to air-borne transport, adding a whole new dimension to it.

Weighing just 25kgs with an outer body that is .5m wide, .5m long and .5m high, this car will showcase its performance at Shell’s Eco-Marathon, which is to be held in July in Kuala Lumpur. The technology If tested successfully, the technology of Eco-Dubai 1 could bring a new change in the world of automobiles across the globe and will encourage more and more manufacturing of eco-friendly vehicles.
